its only big IF to "ignorant people about it" who don't know nothing about it and take it like cough medicen !! champions who reach to the level that they can't grow up anymore than that and their age is over 25 "horomon level start decreasing" they read so much about it and take it by very experienced players and coach in very small doses and small peroid of time and take many other things with it besides the training , food, sleep.. its not just needle

@gymini29 this is incredibly accurate. the problem is alot of guys say "ill just do a few cycles to get to a reasonable size and not abuse them" but then they get off, and cant handle not being on them. you always want more, and that kind of mentality is what makes them dangerous

@gymini29 yeah when heavily abused like 1500 a week. 400 a week should work great. any more than 600 a week woulod really be a waste.

That is what gives you great size, and the glycolytic pathway begins to take over after 6 reps or so. Conversely, strength athletes use only stored ATP and maybe regeneration using creatine phosphate. This is a rep range below 5 (i.e. just a few seconds of power).
This is why you can train specifically for size or strength and it goes far beyond lifting efficiency.

No offence, but this is not quite right.
First, yes some bodybuilders are also powerlifters and vice versa I guess. But to understand why strength and size are generally two different disciplines, you have to understand what makes you big and what makes you strong. Its not your faulty reasoning on technique, its about regeneration of the ATP molecule.
For optimal size you need to operate in the glycolytic pathway so that ATP is regenerated using glucose and glycogen.

musle building is the complete opposite. it is about making the weight as heavy as you can so max fibers are inkluded in the movement and exersised. may i add alot of boddybuilders are also strenght athletes on the side.

@alin1975 Tell that to markus rhul who reps over 400 ibs in sholderpress!lol Actuay you can say boddybuilders are in mutch better physical shape than strenght athletes. This is because strenght is about learning to lift something in the most teknique efitient way possible,

Steroids destroy you sooner or later if you use them.
actually, roids make your testicles atropy, ( ie. shrink ) from lack of use, basically they're no longer needed to produce testosterone so they shrivel up. your dick doesn't shrink.
