Sonic Adventure is my favourite 3D Sonic title.
While it may not be an actual role playing title, the RPG elements help add variety to this one; I'm also very fond of its other added features: religion, literature, philosophy, and mythology.
The story is also very unique and the game play is just so much fun!
And the music is just brilliant; "Open Your Heart" is my favourite music by Crush 40.

So I showed this one to Jun Senoue himself through twitter and asked the oh-so-haunting question: "Who sang this one anyway"?
The singer here is Eizo Sakamoto of Animetal.

@mattwo7 If you read it correctly, It says the 10th birthday of Sonic Adventure(The Game). Not Sonic's(The Character) 10th birthday.

@aaronjs4 My first console was a genesis with sonic 2 bundled. However I've grown to like a good deal of franchises a LOT. Even mario.

@mattwo7 I find it wierd that the first Sonic game was released on June 23rd 1991 and i was born on June 23rd 2000 and grew up to be a massive Sonic fan

@LordLightChaos It also helps that she spent most of her childhood in the States, but agreed.

@SonikkuForever Ummm . . . I have no words, except for: "SEGA was right to choose Crush 40 for this song." I agree with you, however, that Americans would make an EPIC FAIL at singing Japanese.
I'm sorry but they really can't do it. sonikku thanks for the funny lyrics! again, no offence anyone.

I know, singing in English is obviously a... difficulty for them. Then again, I'm pretty sure I'd butcher a Japanese song.
