This is only a continuation of the Rove 'country club' narrative. Rovian strategy essentially insists that because there are more 'have-nots' in this country, that you rile them up against these perceived 'haves' so that the 'haves' lose.
This obviously fails to account for the few 'haves' who actually came from the land of the 'have-nots' and deserve to be there (a la Obama)
