at most schools they ban cell phones but then most of the highschool and some middle school teachers text and talk on the phone all the time!!!

@Zethux i really wish a teacher would break my phone.... even though it was free lol... but you cant just say no exeptions, there should be some!!! what if the student bumps into something and their cell phones power button is hit, and the phone makes a sound? thats not the students fault....

I'm 15, a sophmore, and i agree with the teachers about 50%. No phones during class. Between classes, before school, after school should be fine. If the phone should go off, no exceptions; break the damn thing. Take it and smash it on the floor. Simple.
