Oil portrait painting using oil paint. Painted in an Alla Prima style, wet on wet. Using flat bristle brushes with a 1part linseed oil to 1 part gloss varnish oil medium. Painted on canvas style paper.

  • i should say that it looked amazing! I adored the final outcome; and how remarkably the colors behave when you zoom out the picture. Looking at it again and again I have learned to really observe. Thank you so much.

  • I'm pretty sure the people disliking these videos are only jealous because they suck at painting..

  • @CefaloStudio not really....way too overowrked...but it gets 6 out of ten for effort....missed a lot of highlights and some shadows.....with more practice will improve.
