It's a shame some people find it so boring. It is such a beautiful place. A great area for exploration, hiking, kayaking, skiing, swimming, the arts, fairs, etc. etc.... My mother grew up here as did me and my siblings. The older of us didn't find this place boring because we had grown up without the wonderful benefits of television and instant gratification. The younger ones weren't blessed with our knowledge. With tv, parents found the perfect sitter, and kids found the perfect excuse. What

I used to live there through highschool and the scenery is nice and everything but I wouldn't even consider living there again until I'm old and ready to retire or something lol. But for those of you that haven't been there it would be worth a visit for a vacation=)

and in response to tvdementetv get a grip it was our government not us as citizens that made that choice! I made the choice long ago to cross mexico off my list after all the violence towards tourists started.
