  • i never got why this etude wasnt very famous... i think its awesome, almost, if not on par with op8 no12.

  • Great performance. I've heard this piece numerous times. Others have done a better job delineating the melody amid the blur of notes but it was very good. Scriabin is difficult due to the "rising" of each piece, his own musical evolution. 

    Still, a great performance.

    I like the tempo a little faster than this particular performance(like in the recordings by Lane, Kuschnerova, Okashiro, etc.), but it's excellent playing nevertheless.

    On a random note, this is also the first time I've ever seen the piano bench match a red dress.

  • Oh! thank you! this is my favorite scriabin. And the octaves are so much fun to play, and I love the appasinato melody so much! I love it!
