@lovefrompraha Damn, they sent an Arizona boy somewhere other than the 10th Mountain? 7 out of 10 guys in my company, and damn near battalion are Arizona boys.

@mikiro90 Sounds good bro. I actually went 13F(forward observer) instead since there were no 11B slots. I will be attending college and do ROTC/SMP in January once I get back from AIT(I'm in 13F AIT right now). Just some advice, don't take a job you don't want. If you want 11B get 11B. I was told I could change my MOS to 11B before I shipped when a spot opened. Never happened. I'm happy w/ 13F its a really cool MOS. But juts make sure you get what you want. Good Luck.

I personally only have great things to say about the guard. I've been in for 11 years and I enjoyed my time as a private as well as an NCO. I've earned 2 college degrees payed for by the guard. Traveled to places I other wise would have never traveled to.... Seen things most people will never see. I'm from Louisiana and worked With hurricane Katrina, Ike and gustov. Nothing but heroes! If your from Louisiana and interested in joining the guard call me.... I only speak the truth!! I'm SFC Mike M

Dude thats my plan too. I'm gonna join the Georgia ARNG 11B Infantry, and do ROTC while going to college. I'm pretty stoked about it. It's gonna be pretty high-speed hooah stuff.
