learn the lead parts and chords of Hillsong's "From the Inside Out"

A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
Should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in Your grace

Everlasting Your light will shine
When all else fades
Neverending
Your glory goes
Beyond all fame

Your will above all else
Still my purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing You praise

In my heart in my soul
Lord I give You control
Consume me from the inside Out
Lord
Let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Everlasting
Your light will shine
When all else fades
Neverending
Your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart
Is to bring You praise
From the inside out
Lord my soul cries out
Lord

  • Hi Isaac! Thanks for posting this...just wondering, how do you play your F chord? I noticed you don't bar it...and it looks a lot easier, as I'm having a hard time playing it as a bar chord!

  • @amwester23 ....there are two different ways to play an open F. this is the version i played on the video: 1. index finger on 1st fret, B string middle finger on 2nd fret, G string ring finger on 3rd fret, A string pinky finger on 3rd fret, D string (and if you can reach your thumb over the top and do 1st fret, fat E string...do it...if not just mute it with your thumb) 2. index finger - same middle finger - same ring finger - 3rd fret, D string (same with your thumb)
  • Thanks this really helps. I was just wondering though, can you use a CAPO for this song and if so where? I'm a beginner and the song is too high for my voice when reaching the Bridge.

    =)

  • sure you can. if you capo on the 5th fret and play G chords, it's in the same key as this is (C). So if you capo on 4 and play G chords you are in (B) or 3 for Bb. any lower will probably be too low vocally in the low parts.

  • Hey nice Tut

I don't know if you are a lefty; or just using a mirror... but it works out great for me as a righty sitting opposite you and just mirroring everything you do.

All the best to you; in Him

  • yeah i actually am a lefty. and yeah it comes in handy big time!! i'm glad you liked the video.
