The major difference is that the lighting affects are a lot better on the Playstation

@SEGASTEVO Um. No. I never said anything about Saturn hardware being bad. I was in fact pointing out shoddy programming in the Saturn version.
The crappier graphics on the Saturn were, however, due to the hardware.

Any tearing is down to programming and not the Saturn's capabilities.

which the cable used in the comparison? it seems they are using the svideo cable version of psx and cable
av crap (RCA), on saturn version, if so, this is not fair.
the colors and the textures are blurry if you use RCA cable ...

@TheFred128 They were captured using a standard composite output. Both consoles can output RGB but I had no method of capturing such a signal at the time.
I think the Saturn footage looks a bit blurry partly because I may have fucked up the compression when capturing it. Yep, most of my earlier videos look kinda rough.
