The Cake is Not a Lie

I got on site this morning and a woman came up to me and said "There are some lads there and they have a catapult" I got to the ponds edge and met some of the best lads I've ever met (The catapult was for firing bait into the water... the minnows were biting on every cast and were just hanging on to the bait then they'd flick them back into the water... it was fun to see them having fun.... They said to me in the same sotto vocce "there is a woman over there taking frog-spawn out of the pond and that's wrong mister isn't it?" I said there is only the right thing to do in any situation and when there is conflict both sides think they are doing the right thing... I was in a microcosm of the worlds troubles right there....
I did two little sketches and half way through the second one there was a precession with a chocolate cake singing happy birthday for one of the boys by the pond and a great picnic ensued... Thomas who was mentioned previously said "So... The Cake is not a lie" and I said "No it's not and there's a strawberry on top of it"...
One of the fishermen brought me a little newt who admired the sketch for a while then made back to the pond... the fish were emerald green...

Thank you it was quite a surprise to be handed a cake (Chocolate)

If I could just seize all those days again I would be able to experience the light... I'm off to see some bouncing light at the beach right now.
