@ss90ss444 He became addicted to morphine after suffering an injury and been given it as pain relief..the weight gain came after this, due to eating sweets by the kilo,this second addiction came about because of the first..I dont think he was under any stress, unless you count where he was going to get his next fix from...he lived like royalty.

He was not always fat, stupid. He became fat after WW1 because of drugs and the stress.
I think if Red Baron had lived than he would have been commander of the Luftwaffe.

They were not Wehrmacht generals but Army Generals(Der Heeres).The Wehrmacht was a combination of all Armed Forces,Army,Luftwaffe ,Kriegsmarine and lately the Waffen SS.
