Andrea Gory (left) is not actually from Victor Valley High School but this is good technique study. She fenced extremely well, ending up taking 26th overall in Women's Epee at the 2009 Junior Olympics in Albuquerque. Andrea is a really nice personal friend and a great fencer and competitor.

  • i really dont think they should teach koupe (that may be incorrect spelling).

  • @octyellow

    It's "Coupe."

and do you mean flicks or cut-overs?

I think cut-overs (feint and disengage over blade) are quite useful, while flicks depend on people's preferences.

  • thank you for the correction and i was referring to the flicks. disengaging over the blade can be a risk but it depends on your style.

    Nice!

I need to be able to do that.

  • You guys need to put up more videos of you guys fencing at tournaments, and the medal ceremonies and stuff of that nature. You only have JO's and random short videos scattered around.

  • She's a great fencer, I want to try fencing her again, it's been a while.

Anyway, I find it ironic that this video has the most views of any videos when you search Victor Valley High School, she's not even from our school. lol
