& with all the games being called remakes or sequels and either sucking and/or not offering much extra this is one of the few titles in history that wasn't purchased b/c people didn't know JUST HOW MUCH OF AN INSANE IMPROVEMENT IT WAS.
It is seriously an AMAZING game that reaches the near perfection that only games like A Link to the Past ever actually achieved.
If you haven't played it, do it NOW. It's the kind of game that makes me want to start my own channel JUST to make it my 1st review!

(pt .2)
While the Gameboy one starts out like the arcade one with levels for the most part in the same order... after you get through the original main stages (and if you know all the controls from later on, can breeze through in like 30 seconds total minus scene switches, etc, no joke) it starts off on a 90 more level adventure with complete different game elements.
I hate how they called it Donkey Kong as it could EASILY been called Donkey Kong 2 or Donkey Kong 1-billion-FUCK-YEAHs: Edition.

Did you throw in Donkey Kong, the greatest Gameboy game?
Because you should have. I asked for the game for some stupid reason: a) I thought it was just a port of the arcade version and b) we owned an actual arcade cabinet of the arcade version thanks to my Dad loving it so much.
I went through this phase, let me know if anyone else did so I don't feel crazy, of renting (at the very least) versions of games I love for other consoles to play/compare them.
While the Gameboy one (see pt. 2)
