Knitters on Letterman August '05

Y'all are fair to middlin' I reckon...

I can never see X too many times. Starting at The Whiskey in '81. I'll see them again in July as part of the O.C. Fair concert series at the Pacific Amphitheater. Saw The Knitters there 2 years ago and for the first time. LOVED them. Been lucky enough to see The Blasters a few times too. Yeah living in SoCal is great for live music! Everybody plays here.

So sad Exene has MS.......stay strong!

I remember watching this the night it was aired. God how time flies. Thank you 5***** & faved.

I've seen The Blasters and The Knitters live, but never got to see X. Once in a while they come in to town on a reunion tour, but they sell out in minutes it seems.

So awesome, I can't stop watching this. I have the album this is on but seeing them do it is incredible.

well why the comparisons with X anyway? apples and bananas, I say. Besides there's no Johnny Ray Bartel in X and he's way cool.

Love John and X....but Dave Alvin, that's the fucking guy right there. Love him to death.

actlloyd, yeah the whole band is great & Billy Zoom is great - but when Dave Alvin was playin' electric with 'em - that was truly Awesome to see & hear!
