UNRWA has said that there are about 51 civilians among Gaza's casualties including 17 women and some children. Meanwhile, Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni said that "in a war... civilians sometimes pay the price" in a sign that Israel will continue its attack until "all goals are achieved." On Monday: We'll discuss the Arab and international reactions to the current Israeli assault on Gaza, and what is the possible role that the Arab countries and the international community can play to end the current assault.

I don't know about billions of dollars and what not. But back in 1948, Israel and the Arab states were more evenly matched. Back then the Arabs actually had a chance to do their thing. No US, nothing. Then what happened? Arab states did not cooperate and coordinate, each going for it's own territory. I could go on but my point is this: Arabs fucked their chances up to do Israel in, so now they whine like sore losers. Sorry man, can't cry over spilled milk. Now you live with your problem.
