An excerpt from Wycliffe Gordon's score for the 1925 silent film, "Body and Soul." Directed by the pioneering independent black film director Oscar Micheaux, this film features Paul Robeson in his first starring film role. Wycliffe's score premiered at the 2000 New York Film Festival. This recording was made at a rare performance of the score at the Lucas Theatre in Savannah, GA in 2005.
