Another few tips (experience):
-Mind SHADOWS! If they cross the invisible line, they can easily be missed.
-If at all possible, try to diffuse the lighting, to avoid the previous point being an issue.
-Try to do both 'twins' in one take, not stopping the film. Pressing any buttons on the camera can create enough of a movement to ruin the effect.

@DavinaFaerie It's really easy. You put in two video tracks and go to picture in picture. I use Power Director 9. The pip is in one of the edit buttons. Making the videos for cloning is a harder thing to do.
