Banned Tango TV Advert

Yet ANOTHER Controversial Tango Ad. Removed after two weeks on air, due to complaints about the bullying of fat kids, which completely stopped after it was banned(yeah,sure). This is the contents of a VHS tape sent out to traders urging them to stock more Tango.It also included the full TV campaign,and was the first one to run the megaphone promo. Yes it is James Corden from Gavin & Stacey fame.Directed by Jeff Stark. Trivia: Rowan Atkinson was filming a Fujifilm ad at the same time in the studio next door. Filmed here.

There's countless old web news pages from March 2000 speaking of the advert's ban, from marketing magzine, herald scotland, the free library and even the guardian. 'Tango banned advert 2000' google search. (The BBC got it wrong because of this video in an advert quiz in the late 2000s, long after all those original news threads were put on the web.
