system in the '95 Taurus

*I don't have the system anymore, this video is old but still thought I'd keep it up. Maybe one day I'll have a new system and I'll make a new video with better music lol* Bought a used system from a friend of a friend, Sony amp, 2 12" Lanzar subs in a bandpass box, capacitor and wires for $175. Hooked up to a Sony iPod head unit and new Sony xPlod 6 1/2"s in the front and 5"x7" in the back. This video doesn't do justice to how loud this system is.

I have a 1999 ford taurus... I keep hearing that the speaker size for all 4 are 6x8.. But I also hear that 5x7s will work also.. Is this true?

Correct, it's 6x8, I believe 5x7s may work as they do have essentially the same ratio (elongated), but I'd consult a car audio guy first.
