All my friends who stayed at university are going to be unemployed because they don't accomplish anything there but take out loans to party and play xbox.

My friend's mom did community college and transferred for an accounting degree and had a job before graduation with a company car.

all the fags studying journalism at university are gonna be at occupy wall street.

I went straight to a flagship state research University after high school doing engineering.

What I go in return for 25000 dollars was 300 student lecture halls with professors who were not teachers and TA's from foreign countries. I realized after my first year that most of the kids there were foreigners and that the whole school sucks ass.

Now I'm in my community college for free on scholarship, getting first class teaching and enjoying life more looking to go to a private school.

@wow2283 It's like the first two years of Uni for you guys. But it's watered-down, too easy and basically a US government plot to segregate the poor students from the opportunities had by the richer students at 4 year schools, and also to make 4 year schools more expensive by subsidizing the cheaper community colleges. You are lucky to be living in the UK where they don't have them.

@failmeister51 What you get for "saving money" is diminished opportunities,both social and academic, for two years, two WASTED years, and you have to worry about going through the college application process all over again. Good luck becoming a Rhodes scholar after you transfer!

@utube793 That's not neccessarily true for me. In high school I took a bunch of honors and AP classes, and I even graduated with honors, and Im going to CC and transfer so that I can save money. So, just because Im going to it, doesn't mean that Im dumb or anything.
