Absolutely. Unfortunately the wrap up doesn't get you on Sportscenter. Sign of the times, I'm afraid.

Absolutely horrible in run support but seems to be relatively solid in coverage. Not sure if he's deserving of a 2nd round pick.

@ 1:29 says it all. He's not 2nd round caliber. Hosley is much better!

you're right, he does have some difficulty with that. I will say, though, that the problem with asking him to jam at the line is that he doesn't have the recovery speed to catch up if the WR jukes him. He's at his best in a little off-man, which projects i.m.o. as a potential really good #2 CB. You're right also in that he's a project. He won't know anything about zone coverage when he gets to camp.

In all fairness, playing in the FCS doesn't get you on SportsCenter either. Didn't keep him from turning down Cal and AZ State to go to Montana.

Give me pure talent over technique any day. You can teach technique you can't teach 6'3 CB's who are ballhawks.

I love his size and but he can't get off blocks for shit. He needs to jam more at the line with those long arms. He needs a team that has a stout defense and he can work his way in and the team not ask for to much from him until he can get his technique and confidence up. See him as an 3rd round prospect.
