ANDY CARD: Maine is not going to be a state that I think McCain is gonna carry [...].
MARK HALPERIN: Could you explain why your friend, President Bush is not out campaigning for John McCain and for congressional candidates around the country.
CARD: Well he's been out there raising money for the [RNC], for congressional candidates and the senate candidates and gubernatorial candidates. He's been very, very active to help bring in the resources--
HALPERIN: Why no public events where he goes out and makes the case?
CARD: --the president's not popular.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: The president's not popular?
CARD: The president is not popular. He's not popular.
SCARBOROUGH: Is that your fault, Andy?
[...]
SCARBOROUGH: When did [public opinion] turn [against Bush]? Was it Katrina when Bush went down in the low 30s and never recovered?
CARD: I think Katrina was a big part of the president's challenge and unfortunately I was part of that effort. So maybe everyone should blame Andy Card and stop blaming the president. He's actually a pretty good and strong leader.

Andy Card is a traitor who sent 4.000 of our troops to their deaths and gave him his war profiteering friends over a trillion dollars.
