  • i hope simon has him on the american idol to sing when it starts next year, i pity it the newbies on that show because i am sure mark could beat all of them

  • His singing is amazing!!! I wish I was this good

  • I like him, but he butchered the emotional/sensual aspects of Hallelujah. The Italian part is what was really good. Do check out the studio and live performances by Jeff Buckley (as well as Leonard Cohen's, of course).

  • @LadyShadowDragon

Mind you I haven't yet watched the final

  • @digimuso

yeah, I was just watching the audition, and I agree..he can sing, but honestly, I have heard better opera singers..I preferred his semi final so far

  • Amazing job!! what else can you say..brilliant

  • sounds like he's gagging on the sound

  • He is very good, but i think the younger kid Joshua was bit better specially at 12. that kid is amazing

  • @rmkmerrill that is true with young singers who do not have a vocal coach--placing the sound in the back causes a dark sound-- he needs, if he has not already start studying classical voice, his breathing is better than some-- he does not have to gasp and he seems to use the open pipe technique--

  • @614toni

why would he go on that show when he is already making millions in the real world of music?

  • While I do respect that he is 15 years old - he needs to get under a vocal coach should he want to continue to singing. There is too much cover and darkness in the tone which causes unneeded strain and stress in the voice. With a few techinque changes, he will be on his road to success.
