The PKK is only 4000 strong while there are over 100 thousand Kurds in the Turkish army. There are over 80 000 Kurdish village guards (protecting their villages from the PKK) all working for the TURKISH government.

A very bad reporting from Al Jazeera. They have totally misrepresent the situation. There is a legitimate liberation struggle there, and Al Jazeera has managed to present a steam-boiled no-salt-added sweet-heart-and-flowers bullsh*t about peace and two sides on an equal footing. Where is the oppression of the Kurdish people? Where is the denial of the Kurdish people? Where are the crimes of war committed by turkey?
