@HooverAC110 Also, my mate has an Indesit WIB111. Possible the loudest modern machine I have ever seen. What's funny is that when it goes from distribution to 400rpm, it sounds just like a Hoover Logic!
@HooverAC110 Must admit the 'A,B,C,D,E' partial programmes are Whirlpool-esque. Their range from about 07 had those. Seen a 7kg Eco Tech 1200rpm Hotpoint in Tesco today. Does Eco-Tech mean they use less water. Apart from the Indesit drum, there are no visual differences.
@hotpointlover Yes I totally agree, they should! Yeah perhaps that is the case and yes there is a UK machine without a spin dial and just a temperature. You can tell the difference with foreign machines as these have A, B, C, D and E as partial programs which basically gives cottons and delicates separate rinse and spin programs. Wish the UK had those!
@HooverAC110 I do think that Delicates should at least spin at 600rpm and there be a separate Silks programme. Maybe Comet do a special edition model? I've seen one on Youtube with no variable spin dial. Can't remember if it was foreign or not but i'm sure it was from the UK.
@hotpointlover Thats true!

@HooverAC110 Not really because in today's world manufacturers are trying to cut costs in every available place!

@hotpointlover Haha yeah true, rather silly of me to think so!

@HooverAC110 Maybe new old stock? I don't know why they would use a 15-20 year old motor though!

@hotpointlover Lol yeah I don't know why but Indesit machines seem louder than Hotpoints. Yeah it's as though Merloni are using 'older' motors :/

@hotpointlover Yeah that's true I forgot about that. Eco-Tech hmm never heard of that must be water or energy saving like you say.
