@nelissarn2 It is the modern Filipino Alphabet. And the national language is Filipino, not Tagalog. The a-ba-ka-da was based on Tagalog. The Filipino Language is a mix of almost all (if not complete) dialects spoken in the country. In Visayas and Mindanao, letters like c, z, v are used, and since Filipino is a combination of all dialects, it's just reasonable to include them in the Filipino Alphabet.
Ang linggwahe natin ay nagbabago, kaya mayroon ding revisyon sa alfabeto.
To be honest, I prefer our old alphabet... 'cuz it seems like it's really our own...
Not like the new one... it's derived from English... and English is actually not our local language, we use it daily, not as our own language...
I observed that some of our traditions and culture are slowly fading and are replaced by foreign cultures... Why don't we keep and maintain our own tradition and culture? :(
@nelissarn2 Interesting enough sulat tagalog/baybayin(ALIBATA IS INCORRECT TERM DO NOT USE IT) does not have a specific character for them either, instead we just use replacements with our own characters.
J becomes di-ya,q can become Kuiu,k is an exact replacement of c but not when it's mixed with h z is totally replaced with s but we can tell the difference, v is totally replaced by b but again we can tell the difference, the others are a little trickier to do though.Easier in kulitan script tho
This is NOT the Filipino Alphabet! It does not reflect the national language "Tagalog." There are NO alphabets like C, F, Q, J, V, X, and Z. If this video is an example of what is being taught in the Philippines, then sadly it needs national attention to be corrected.
@lilaznchris tha's not really that!! its a ba ka da e ga ha i la ma na nga o pa ra sa ta u wa ya ang ating abakada kung ito'y alam nyo na tayo na at kumanta
