poopypanda44 is right. In the great 1984 we managed to win the national championship by barely beating a 6-6 team. Amazing. And the utes happened to go undeafeted and win 2 bcs bowls is just not impressive. We as BYU fans need stick together in hope to make to the bcs bowl at least once in our lifetime.

The fact is this. There are only 7 conferences that will play for the National Title in the BCS System. The BCS system is all about money and control. The system is corrupt and is designed to empower the 7 BCS conferences and send all the money to them. University of Utah won BOTH of their BCS games handily. BSU did it too. If they allow a "non- BCS" team to play for the title and WIN then it destroys their paradigm that only certain schools can be national champions.

MrJoseOle, you're the dumbass! BYU didn't play Miami on their 1984 schedule. Go look back on their schedule. Secondly, why in the hell did you bring up the 1980's? When I said that byu chokes in big games, I was talking about what happened over this previous decade, you idiot! BTW, most of the nation disagrees with byu's NC because of the fact that all of the teams they played that year didn't finish in the top 25 polls. It's the final rankings that matter.
