i know racism exists in france. However, i thinks in many ways, its more liberated than many black countries. You see ads with black models, something i hardly see in TV comming out of america that we see in the Pacific. They are also much more polite compared to blacks and especially arabs. Perhaps iam a black without the 'experience' of black americans but i feel racism in france, especially the 'blatant' forms cited here, i dont feel. maybe 'rottenfrance', you are too sensitive!

You should think in terms of human decency. haven't you heard that Marseilles is on hold and thousands are apartments are empty because they are planning to restructure in order to oust all modest income whites, blacks, Arabs & ethnic types who are usually left-wing. Now these people are all totally homeless. You appear to be come one who doesn't read the papers. I have heard of so many racist experiences, that I could write a book.

I can go in USA filming myself and say the same crap about american people. of course there is racisme in france but like in all the countries in the world, not less, not more.

Whatever your nationality (french, american...), your race, your faith, your politics point of view... there is always stupid people and you are one of them because your analyse is completly wrong and stupid.

I know you didn't see anything because you didn't care and didn't even bother glance let alone give a good hard look. I went to Europe with many fellow American student and believe me white students were subjected to an entirely different set of living conditions than the students of color. You are sickeningly ignorant. There is no excuse. Your cavalier attitude is vulgar and insensitive. These are human lives that you are sneering at. Have some decency.

There are some indexes that indicate that France has a far lower rating- never higher than 7 and often as lo as 10 and even, yes, 15. as for racist images, why don't you look on the cover of the Banania box. Do you think that grinning black, red lipped man is flattering to black people? What about the posters and postcards that are in every art shop. What about the numerous statues of little slave boys and men? France is full of racist images. You denial is pathological.

You have destroyed the infrastructure of many third world nations. Now they are homeless, with their economies in shreds. You imposed forced labor on them, you disrupted their way of life and destroyed entire layers of their economies. You made them dependent on you. I think that you are reacting emotionally to the fact that people are criticizing you & your nation. However, criticism can be a very good tool when we are sincerely interested in improving ourselves. Try to calm down and consider the facts. Would YOU like to be controlled on every street corner? Would you like to be denied a job, apartment or admission to a nightclub,restaurant or disco, simply because of the color of your skin?

Pourtant,ils existent. they are out there. Look on the cover of Banania for example or the coffee that sports the face of a happy black slave. You need to look again. Look in Asterix and Obelix, la bande dessinée. These caricatures are EXTREMELY common.
