  • hayd is dead so i guess the way his songs are played must be left open to interpretation...we can only wonder what he would play it like...i wish they had recordings from his time :P...

  • Yea, his second movement really is something ^^. I have heard several interpretations of other players but this one almost sounds like a complete different piece. It's amazing :). I do think Haydn't himself had played it more like other pianists do. Less quite spaces and less romantic as Gould does. But... for Gould it works again :).

  • Bravo! Great interpretation. However, sometimes he leaves large gaps in between notes when he's not supposed to. Other than that, great! :D
