  • The funny thing is... Sampras switched to federer's raccquet.

  • 16x19 isn't a dense string pattern...

  • @HW2800 I think any racquet can be used as an "all-over" frame. However, I think what the reviewers try to get at is that because of the frame's head size, weight, and balance, it is better suited for more aggressive, net savvy players. It's definitely a great frame all around, but to get the most out of it the frame belongs closer to the net. I say this with two years of playing with this frame (and man do I wish I had another one of these!). Cheers!

  • @Babolat3216 when is racket has an 88in frame 16 by 19 is very dense

  • @StevenZhangPA No he didn't, he used a similar racquet to Federers when he started playing exhibitions until the pro staff 88 was produced

  • A lot of younger players underestimate what the pro staff was and still is. The St. Vincent builds are selling for up to 3000.00 and for a good reason. You can keep your new racquets.

  • @HW2800: i agree with you. My forehands were tremendous with the pro staff 85 and i cant imagine much difference with this raquet.

  • @StevenZhangPA he switched to babolat

  • @Babolat3216 On an 88 sq inch racquet it is.

  • The commentator got it all wrong - saying it a serve and volley racket. It really an all court racket. It has a big sweet spot if you know how to use this racket. I find the reviews of this racket a hoot! It by people who do not use this racket as their primary racket - so it done all wrong.

  • @Babolat3216 it is pretty damn dense at 88 sq. inch dude. think before you speak

  • @plutoisacomet I don't really understand :S I play with a 93in² racket (Head Prestige Mid) and of course you gain power with a smaller head, but you don't gain control when you're gaining power at the same time... More power=less control, less power(smaller headsize)=more control... That's how it works and if you look at the Pro's headsizes, you will not see many of the playing with a smaller head that 93in² (Murray=100in², Djokovic=98in², ... )
