Tony Stewart looks a bit overweight for me..

f1 vs nascar on an oval track who will win?
-
@aspetty and finally three they have to have insane endurance, agility, and concentration to be able to drive those cars at those speed.

I'm an American fan of both Nascar and F1. WHile I might prefer the F1 a little more the skill needed to drive in either of these sports is intense. Some people might might argue using the phrase sport, but to me I have driven in go carts that have a top speed of about 45 mph. I wrecked and made hard turns without any power steering at all. You know what I learned after eight minutes of driving one of those things. One I had bruises not just from wreck / turning and two my arms where tired

I'm watching Formula 1 retro a little bit, mostly it covers the 70s, with Stewart, Lauda, Ickx.
Comparing those cars with today's cars its amazing how they have evolved, specially aerodynamics, downforce, grip.
I love stockcars just by looking at em, they look mean, nasty, more street.

Ahh, watch the stock cars on the high banks of Daytona gives me chills...

I love Watkins Glen, it's a great track but there are still horrible crashes there.

When you're from the UK, it's fairly likely that the first motorsport exposure you'll have and therefore will become the one closest to your heart is F1, which is exactly what happened to me. But NASCAR is also a series I'm fond of, a totally different kind of racing but no less of a thrill - and skill, for that matter. As a kid, I loved the speed and excitement of racing on ovals, but couldn't see the difficulty behind it. Now I'm older I can and I respect it a great deal. Both are epic! :-)
