This video contains footage of ALU-LINE boring systems rough and finish boring a large marine propulsion pod housing at a company in Texas on a MAG Giddings & Lewis 1600 Horizontal Machining Center. The part is cast steel. The tool connection to the machine spindle is CAT50 with simultaneous fit capability. Feeds and speeds are available upon request.
