  • 1:50-1:58 is a jaw-breaking chop

  • Yes and what about the chops from 3.20 to 3.35? Just awesome. The whole song is filled with great chops!!! Uli is really mastering his sky guitar which must be pretty hard to control.

  • Uli on his "mid-era", which means, the time he was developing his skills.... Great song!

  • My favourite parts in this song are past 3.10 Those melodies are just so beautiful.

Hopefully Uli´s newest album is getting ready quickly :)

  • 3:36 Ok, its impossible to play this song on a standard 21 frets strat...

  • @cloud041089 I love that kind of drums lol. It wasn't just pop either, listen to Yngwie Malmsteen's Trilogy, they are all over that!

  • Very synth sounding...I'm quite fond of it...but I love almost everything from the 80's so i would love this lol.

  • why don't they teach "Rock Gods 101" in school. I can't believe I've been missing out on Uli all this time. That Sky guitar is priceless too, It's the guitar of my dreams!

  • es realmente una de las mejores variaciones a el modo de uli bravo por los dos mozart y uli

  • muy bueno che!!

  • @robibm2003 I have a bootleg of Yngwing playing the intro to Sails of Charon solo live at a show in San Francisco in 1983, I believe. He was playing with the band Anvil Chorus, which were opening for Alcatrazz. I think the story of the show is Alcatrazz had to cancel last minute but Yngwie still jammed with the openers.

  • Who's the bozo that gave this a thumbs down?

  • @frankpaws You hit the nail on the head there. Yngwie never mentioned Uli much after he made it...to not reveal his source.

  • For a demo, this is pretty damned good.

It's hard to believe that I got to see Uli on his first U.S. solo tour twice. The show he did at the Country Club in Reseda is still my favorite show of all time of the hundreds I've seen. His playing that night was so outstanding that it was veritably rapturous.
