What about the all the Tribes and Countries that have unlimited resources for themselves and leave a vast majority starving and dying all over the World Iran, Syria, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kenya, and so many more. Tho non consumer lifestyles in these places the divide between the haves and have nots is not because of consumerism. It is Greed on behalf of the oppressive LEADERS... America is guilty of Greed too. We need to take personal responsibility. EVERYONE. Stop blaming each other!

I hope the interviewer here doesn't consider herself a journalist because she comes across as an insincere idiot. How can a supposedly educated person (I assume one must be somewhat educated to obtain a position as a "news" anchor) be so incredulous about out of control consumerism being linked to enviromental problems? HELLO! Where does she think all this stuff on the shelves comes from?
