Dude, you inspired me to do this. So I went to Vietnam, bought a bike and went from Saigon to Hanoi. Best thing I ever did. Thanks!

great trip and great bike, i have the same bike. Very nice work on the editing ! and good music. Well done. Send me a message when you make another bike trip somewhere ;-) oh and by the way, if you live in Thailand and want to get your papers for the bike, it will usually take alot longer so 1 week was really quick !!! It would also take a one year visa for Thailand just to get it registred in your name. My bike is registred on my Thai wife.

Thanks for the quick answer! I want to hire a bike in Vietnam, I heard it's a lot easier to rent it over there. Maybe I want to cross over to Cambodja but the first plan was to go from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. Can you recommend something?
Hi Joost0510 Way to go thats cool! JuL0006 We where only using leica V-lux 1, and the trip cost arround 8000usd. Actually most of the money we spend in China and Hong Kong. From the bike we got almost the same than we paid in Thailand.

Thanks for sharing dude, I want to make this adventure my own this summer. Did you rented the bike over there? And how did you communicate with the local people? Hope to hear from you!

@Joost0510 Hi man. We bought the bike from Bangkok (not easy took us 7 days to get the paperwork done) then we had to cross both borders: Thai-Cambodia and Cambodia-Vietnam illegally, we just stamped our passports and hoped that nobody shoots us in the back. You cannot cross those borders legally because those countries do not have transport agreement. If you are foreigner and the bike is registered in those countries you either go illegally or you don't go. Keep me posted about your trip...
