  • I think Ron Paul needs to spend a month, or so in a wheelchair.

  • I think some of you are misinterpreting him. he is not saying its okay to discriminate against disabled people, He's saying The issue would regulate itself & will be naturally taken care of, you can sue a private company or it will lose customer support if it does not treat all people equally. Basically fed. gov. doesn't even need to step in to the private sector with a strong hand here & control business, because its not necessary in order for fair treatment. separate gov & big business

  • As for the disabled parking issue, those parking places were put there to make sure a disabled person has the same access opportunities to the building. I am sorry my rights for equal access, trumps your laziness!

  • Ron Paul supporters need to realize something. The way government has been going, we've been giving out freedom to as many people as possible. Ron Paul, however, wants more freedom for fewer people. Does that sound fair to you?

  • If I may quote Fight Club on this point.

Jack: A new car built by my company leaves somewhere traveling at 60 mph. The rear differential locks up. The car crashes and burns with everyone trapped inside. Now, should we initiate a recall? Take the number of vehicles in the field, A, multiply by the probable rate of failure, B, multiply by the average out-of-court settlement, C. A times B times C equals X. If X is less than the cost of a recall, we don't do one.

  • @NinaisAlive We tried giving private business a free hand, when they do they choose the most profitable/efficient route which often involves pollution, unequal hiring practices, and reduced safety measures.

It's how we ended up with all the laws and agencies we in place to prevent these things happening.

  • I agree with a fair amount of what he says. It's a shame society has become so reliant on the Federal government to just babysit us on every little issue. Self-government and self-responsibility needs to be exercised.

  • ron paul use proper terminology when running for president.
