Yeah -- the one thing you gotta remember about us that year was how far back we came from in 1992. Preview of champions semis 3 weeks before we were in 7th. Two weeks before finals we were up against Phantom and got booed because we tied them (Phantom took 6th that year I think .. sorry if I am wrong). Show before Quarters we were behind BD. I still say taking 2nd was way more fun than winning the next year.

Interesting theory, but not entirely accurate. I agree about SCV winning in 89 when they should have won in 88, but Cadets won in 90 after being way down in 89. Phantom came in 2nd in 89 (they should have won) and did not place very high in 90, Star came in 3rd in 90 and won in 91, etc.

this was a 2nd place show....Cavies took it this year.....this was back when DCI was centimental for the 2nd place guys from the previous season. It started in 88 with Santa Clara and seemd to go on from there with a few breaks. And if DCI could not decide.....they called it a tie. Blue devils did the leap in 94 but no one was going to beat them they were so good. But then again Cavies considered that at the time as a off year. 4th place....spoiled brats!!!!

That particular Cadet show should have been the winner in 1992, and is one of only a few Cadet shows I really like.
