  • Thank you for making videos. It helps me to hear your stories. I was a monk for a long time then gave up my precepts. It is very hard to be in the world and have a meditation practice. I don't fit in, now I understand why. Thank you!

  • I don't understand how meditation can cause one to be feel anxious or uncomfortable in social situations. Yes meditation changes you, this I know. I have been meditating for many months and been serious about my practicing and lengthening it.

Though, as I swap between Samatha and Vipasanna when I feel fit, I only feel better each day... Each day there is less and less anxiety and discomfort in social situations? How can something that brings peace/tranquality/calmness, cause anxiety?

  • Can you answer how to deal with people/friends who do not except your beliefs as a Buddhist. I have many friends who now that I have converted to Buddhism except it, being good natured friends, but many that decline my change. Some people seem to view Buddhism as far fetched and to sum it up, crazy. How can we help people who do not understand our beliefs?

  • @ClaudeSac you're right in a way. But actually he would be lying if he said the food was delicious because sometimes it may not be delicious (i.e. it is not intrinsically delicious). He may say he is enjoying it though.

  • One particular thing you said in this vid really puzzled me ... how is it admitting your own faults when you say that your food is delicious?

The fact that you enjoy your food does not imply that you are attached to it. (does it?) I enjoy a lot of things but I do realise that they are all going to ga away ... but of course, 'this too will pass'. Enjoy it, but don't cling on to it. In my opinion this also goes for food that you (are allowed to) enjoy. Am I misunderstanding you?

  • @xtensitymusic because it shows you a new way to be or to see things and the transition might occur gradually rather than suddenly. People might be afraid of change.

  • I'm not a monk, but I agree with everything you are saying...I don't believe in being attached to people, things or food. Much love~thanks for sharing~

  • Hey , thank you for this video. I myself don't necessarily believe in any god , no offense to anybody out there, but I do respect them a lot especially Buddhism. I would like lots of u to look at this movie called The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. There is also a book by the same name and author. Another book by the same author that will help to better understand it is The Power. I am not trying to change anybodies beliefs but to spread joy into people's life's as the author did to me. I recommend it

  • "All of you are my friends" aw thanks :)

  • thank you
