Victorian Thriller! Dickens Thriller!

How many ghoulish fiends are required to take over London? Not enough, if the Legion Fantastique has anything to say about it! Join your Sorcerer of Ceremonies, Mr. Edgar Allan Poe played by Lee Presson of Lee Presson and the Nails (http://www.leepresson.com), as he raises the dead and the roof.

With greatest thanks to the inimitable Michael Jackson.

This was all staged at the Charles Dickens Christmas Fair in San Francisco (http://www.dickensfair.com) This is the last weekend. Get on down to the Cow Palace!!

  • That's it - nobody has to do another Thriller Dance video ever again. Because you folks just raised the bar into the stratosphere.

  • Dark Garden Corsets are worn by many, including me (red), Molly (green), Cindy (pink). Thanks to MJ and the original choreographers, thanks to Ines from Thrill the World, thanks to all the tech (Ian, Tox & Joel of Legion, Geneveve, Mark & Ed on staff) thanks to all my crazy Dickens Fair friends for coming out to play and dance. I am so lucky to be surrounded by such talent, humor, kindness and love.

  • haha that was fantastic...I love Flora Finching and her hanky scaring off zombies ;D

  • Boy I miss working Dickens. Anybody remember when we went as a group to see "Scrooged" and we all got in for free since the manager of the theatre thought we were a promotion and the the Japanese business guy bought our pizzas at Pizza and pipes?

  • @kightp AMEN. I know where I'm working this holiday season. :D

  • I just need to work the whole run of the event next year and perhaps see what fun things they come up with. :)

  • I'm pretty sure this was just a one time special project.

It's not a regular part of Dickens Fair. Done by those who work at Dickens, it was practiced before opening, and filmed after closing. (Many kudos to all who put their precious time and energy into putting this together and making it happen. I know there was a lot of hard work involved, especially since it was put together in less than 4 weekends! )

  • that was absolutely beautiful. im so proud to be a faire brat. i love you all. especially terry and molly and angela. :) <3

  • freaking epic!

  • One thing that is really impressive to me, is the fact that the ladies are doing these dance moves while wearing CORSETS!!!
