I'd need someone to do that for me.. but it looks good. I think this turns out best on curly/wavy thick hair. My hair is straight and thin so I don't think it'd work as well.

I used to do a similar style some mornings for school! I had 2 mirrors facing each other so I could see what I was doing. Mine was a simpler version being that I put it in a ponytail first so that you have use of both your hands, then i would twist pieces back in a messy but stylish way hiding the ponytail band. I found it easier to do it wet. I wouldn't be bothered doing it anymore unless I had a wedding or something!

There are several reasons to tease the hair, one being for volume, two being that is forms a density to anchor your pins into so that the style will hold. She did not brush out the teasing she only brushed the outside of the back sections, not the inside. This is a freeform type of hairstyle, there are no wrongs or rights, you create as you go.
