The reason I never saw this, even though I like Zack Synder's other movies, is that it's clear that there is no reality to any of the action. Fine for a surrealist movie, but in an action movie if the action is all fantasy then there are no consequences to the action. Who cares if you get shot or stabbed in a fantasy? It doesn't matter. So the fighting has no sense of danger, it looks cool but there is not excitement. My guess is everyone else stayed away for the same reason.

They have all the good element...maybe it is over designed but it's the world of imagination to escape, being free in reality, so what was wrong with it? I still say this movie was one of the greatest movie, and it does take some balls to release something like this.

This trailer totally misrepresents what the film was actually about. That's not to say its a bad movie but I can see why people got pissed off about it. The movie in the trailer looks way cooler than what was actually put out to theaters.
