@wolfpoc316 i think for Chipchura being a rookie who doesn't really fight, against Stuart, who isn't necessarily an enforcer, but he's a farely tough fellow, chipchura did alright, he landed a few, and i'm sure if he wasn't so pissed at the questionable hit stuart threw, he would've taken his time to follow the code and removed his helmet.

@theultimateultimatum Chipchura dropped his gloves first. I mean come on man watch the video. He just bit off more than he could chew here. He definitely hid in the bench once his helmet was off. Just more gutless play by the habs.

@jmiller006 check out his fight against nystrom, he takes it off immediatley... had your cheap ass bruins player taken a bit more time, tried to make it a real fight, instead of just jumping at chipchura right away, he may have had time to remove his helmet. Thank you.

IMO - Chippy has been trying find his way to stay up with Montreal and by showing his teammates/coaches that he is committed. He was touted as a leader and a possible future captain when he was in Junior and was Captain of Canada's World Junior Team.
Hopefully he will have better luck with the Ducks than he has in MOntreal

first off, if canadiens fans are so defensive when their players get suspended for hitting from behind because the opposing player turned at "the last second" then i don't know how this isn't the exact same thing...secondly, chipchura is a pussy...he has a visor, doesn't take it off when he wants to fight, and then as soon as it comes off he puts his head into the montreal bench so he doesn't get hit...how any hab fan can sit here and defend that pansy is beyond me.

i agree, wearing a visor is fine...but usually, if you're going to fight and your opponent isn't wearing a visor, you at least take it off, or don't stop fighting as soon as the guy fighting you gets it off, which is absolutely what happened here....
THAT is why he's a huge pussy.
