Now, I don't think there's much explanation needed for this. IMO the song actually has a pretty clear-cut meaning, just not easy to put into words. ^^

But basically it's this. (and really, it's just the whole movie plot reiterated xD)

Copper and Tod have truly found all they've wanted in life, but to keep them, they must let go of their friendship, sacrifice those memories of their childhood. But, for some strange reason, they still hold their promises to each other true: that they would die for each other.

And as accusations of said promises broken begin to arise, so does the hatred. In the end, they prove themselves to each other, and realize that neither of them went back on their word.

They're still friends.

And they'd still die for each other.

Hurrah! It's finally done. I've had this idea ever since I discovered this song. And got this movie. And I found that they both fit so well, like puzzle pieces. Above all that, it's a song that actually does the epic film justice, and vice versa. I got to work on it as soon as I found a good file converter, (now my clips are in DVD quality, rejoicing yay), Thank you Wildelark for the suggestion anyway. You rock ^^

(And YES, I know I said you'd probably never see Vixy again in my videos for as long as I live, but...The lyrics demanded it. I'm not that happy about it either xD)

However I did work very hard on this to make it as perfect as possible. So, bon appetit, enjoy, whatever. xD

This song is most definitely worth being on tv. it is the best music video of The Fox and Hound i have EVER seen. you have a talent. If you want to be a music video editor, you would be famous. i cant believe 2 people disliked it. something must be wrong with them... How could anyone not like this video? I also can't believe there are only 4,500 views. I should tell all my friend to go on this and like it. Best. Video. Ever. :')

Yes! FINALLY someone has made an amazing video with this song! I never thought of it with FatH, but it fits beautifully and really shows that Tod and Copper still care for each other, but have gone different ways in life.
