I know it's a great record, I think I read somewhere it was a demo he did in 1980, it's great cuz he says la, in it. For years It could never understand why the Beatles all spoke with mad accents, I thought maybe the accent had changed over the years, but I realized about 10 years ago, that it was because it was they were trying to speak posh (or make themselves understood at least), so it's great to hear John letting it all hang out in this toon.

I've just done a bit of research and it is Lennon, the thing that made me think that it wasn't him was firstly because I hadn't heard that song b4, and also his accent sounds like a modern scouse accent, to me the Beatles all had a mad paroday of a scouse accent like they were putting it on, but I suppose they were just modulating it so ppl could understand them, like I have had to do myself working in all those saddo places over the years, gr8 song thou.

The song sounds like a cross between John Lennon and Lilly Savage who is it, BTW I remember Greenbergs, from Eric's Punk/Wave Times, they had some weird shit there. As an exiled scouser, who has now settled in Glasgow via, Runcorn (say no more), Coventry (don't ask), Hastings (Ahem), London (loved it), Newcastle (no comment), Edinburgh (god help me), and Linlinthgow (go look it up) to Glasgow (were the crooks are so busy being hard they forget to do any crime), these vids are great.
