  • That was great, I wonder what you think of this idea ? Fly into Heathrow, view a few of the cars you've found on the web, buy a classic Austin A40 or Morris A55 etc, something from the '60s, but which has been restored and runs well. Drive it to Land's end, then all the way to Scotland, back to London, sell it to a dealer, and fly home ?

  • @GowanBray NIce idea, would love to drive a classic all over UK , but I think in reality it would take some planning and finding the time !

  • My first car , it cust me a lot of money in 75... £40!

  • How come yours doesn't sound like a load of old bolts rattling around in a biscuit tin? Mine does. :o) GAS sounds really sweet.

Looks like a nice road for our cars, Nice and clear too, leave all the Euro Boxs on the motorways and we'll take the more interesting fun A roads.

    Cheers, Cobwobbler.
