Christmas Dinner 1962 with Grandma Mitchell at the Benson's with Mom, Dad, Jeff, Chris and all of Bryan's family. This was filmed by Bryan Benson on 8mm. Visible at the dinner table are (left to right) Jeff, Grandma Emma, My Dad, Chris, My Mom and Pat. Also Bryan, Debbie, Nancy, Barbie and Aunt Rae are in the film. I was home on naval leave from Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay where I was on the drill team (in order to avoid harder duty) so I demonstrated my capabilities to manipulate my weapon. Then there is some footage taken at Bryan and Pats Inver Grove Heights house of their kids opening Christmas gifts (I no longer smoke). Later in the video (not sure I got the sequence right) the entire Matychuk clan are present at the house at 4141 28th Ave (I think they were just six persons at the time). In 1968 Chris and Jeff learned how to sky dive. In this footage Bryan/Pat and family are present. Following this training session, with the two of us jumping in the video at the end, I did 200 sky diving jumps and logged one hour of free fall time. I think Chris did over 400 jumps.
