西村由紀江 Yukie Nishimura (b. 1967), the most famous Japanese female pianist, began her piano studies at age three. She is a prolific composer of piano music, and also composes for TV drama series. Many of her albums have reached Gold. She has performed in Europe, the U.S., then sold-out performances in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

"Letter" appears in her 16th album Virgin (1995)
