It's funny how they can take a real picture and get it so horribly wrong. The east bit at the start refers to the fact that in some lodges where the tracing board lays flat, that part points east, plus it's an allegorical map of the lodge, which faces east. Secondly, the bit they say is Isis, nope, God by whatever name you know him.
