I rode this storm out about 6 blocks from where this was taken. Sounded like we had a 747 in the back yard. Wouldn't have missed it for the world though...

I thought it may be cool to be in a hurricane down south...but after seeing this...NO WAY...thats freaking scary...I live in Halifax and we get cat 2 hurricanes...check out Hurricane Bill Peggys cove...this is in halifax,,,waves are huge

I've been to Halifax for a couple of hurricanes - Noel and Bill. I've got some incredible wave footage at Peggy's Cove on my channel. I've never seen waves as big as that day in my life - they'd hi the rock and jump around 100-120 feet in the air. The whole ground was shaking.
